In this week’s show, I share with you about a principle that is very important in Network Marketing--How to increase the number of quality and qualified presenters in your organization. I am a huge fan and big believer in third party presenters, but looking within your own business can be the answer you need to help grow your team.
Sometimes what’s necessary to expand your organization and give it more stability is to give it more presenters. Here’s what I mean by that, typically there’s only a few presenters in an organization. The amazing thing that happens when you present, is that you hear the words over and over. I know for me, learning how to be a presenter was a dramatic confidence booster for my business!
I felt ready to tell the story whether I had a tool in front of me or not. I could help my team by telling the story for them and being that third party tool. There were days that I didn’t feel like doing my Network Marketing business, but guess what, I did the presentation and by the end of it I was motivated and saying to myself “hey, what were you thinking, why are you having a bad day!”

5 Key Qualities of a Network Marketing Leader Summary
There are 5 qualities that I want to have in a leader who I am going to work with:
5. Good Communicator
What do I mean by capable? I mean that when you send them a welcome email or package, they don’t ask you a question because they actually read it! And then they sign somebody up all by themselves. That is capable.
They’re committed when things are going poorly, and they’re still there. They are still showing up on leadership calls, attending months, and month after month, they are in it.
People don’t have to recreate everything all by themselves. They just need to be willing to watch other people and be coached.
So, who do you want to work with? The key to great leadership is being able to communicate expectations, educate, and instill confidence into your team. Watch what other people are doing who are successful. If you want to learn how to communicate, see how other people are successfully doing it. See what’s working and what’s not working. The key to greatness is seeing yourself bigger than you think is possible and trying to achieve it.

Today, Jayne Leach talks about how network marketers can overcome one of their biggest fears – the word “no.”
Research shows that we hear the word “no” many more times than we have ever heard the word “yes.” And so, you would think that we would be used to hearing the word “no.” But in reality, when we start out on our Network Marketing journey, our biggest fear and biggest obstacle to overcome is learning how to handle the word “no.” You might have all the energy and passion in the world, but if you hear the word “no” too often, that passion can begin to fizzle out, and questions and doubts start to take its place.
One of things that I had to understand was how to turn a “no” into a “yes” because it was the “yeses” that was going to allow the business to grow. So, I took a step back, and I realized that it was all about the conversation. Initially, I was making it all about me, my business, my opportunity, and my journey. But it should be nothing about me, and everything about them.

Duplication is an elusive beast in Network Marketing. It’s like unicorn dancing through the woods. You’ve heard about it, but you’ve never seen.
Most people really struggle with duplication. I know I did. When I first got involved in Network Marketing, I’d bring in a group of people, and they’d bring in people. But once my organization got up to around 20 or 30 people, it’d crash back down on itself. During my first 3 years in Network Marketing, I rebuilt my team 7 times!
I didn’t have duplication. I had addition and subtraction. I’d bring somebody in, and I’d lose somebody. Today, I want to talk about a principal for growing your Network Marketing business that is very important: increasing the number of quality and qualified presenters in your organization.
I’m a huge fan and a big believer in using third-party tools whenever possible, but sometimes what’s necessary to expand an organization and give it more stability is to increase the number of presenters in your organization. Typically, an organization will have a few presenters who do all of the presentations. Everybody else just brings people to the presentations, and those few presenters do all of the talking. But the presenters are actually the ones getting the most out of it. An amazing thing happens when you present because the student hears it one time while the presenter hears it over and over again. And as the presenter says that words over and over, it builds their belief, confidence, and self-esteem.
For me, learning to be a presenter was a dramatic confidence booster for a number of different reasons.
1. I felt ready to tell the story whether or not I had a tool in front of me.

This week Eric gives us some straight talk about choosing your hard, especially if you are an entrepreneur or want to become one. People tell him all the time, “building a business is hard. Network marketing is hard. Motivating myself is hard.” But what most people want to do, is they want to avoid “hard.” They want to avoid the things that are difficult, the things that are challenging them, the things that are pushing them.
As Eric points out, life doesn’t get easier. You just have to learn how to work through the hard until it becomes familiar to you. Eric suggests asking yourself these questions: . Is staying in a job that you hate, getting paid a fraction of what you’re worth, is that hard or easy? I talked with Les Brown to find out how he would describe Network Marketing. Les said that Network Marketing brings out the entrepreneur in you. He quoted Emerson in saying that this is the “age of self-reliance.” And Network Marketing brings that out of you.
But there are a lot of haters out there who don’t really understand the profession. They think Network Marketing is a “get rich quick” scheme or a pyramid scheme. But it’s not. Network Marketing is a structure that provides coaching. It is not a secret to success, but a system to success. But the system only works if you work it.
Work. That’s a four letter word that most people don’t like. They don’t want to work. Les once tried to help the brother of a friend get off of drugs, but once the brother heard that he would have to do the work, he didn’t want to participate in his own rescue. You’ve got to be willing to do the work, or nothing will work for you.
There are people out there who will be presented with the opportunity to join Network Marketing. These people know that there is no such thing as job security.
